Prairie View United Methodist Church has moved forward in the past year with the purchase of a parsonage for our new Pastor Mark Johnsen and his wife, Lisa.  Pastor Nelson lead us well in preparing the way for Pastor Johnsen and his efforts resulted in a smooth transition for the leadership of our church. Thank you Pastor Morris Nelson and Cathy for the sacrifices you made to make it all happen.

We have been challenged to all work together using the talents God has bestowed upon us to reach out in our community to demonstrate our love and dedication to God.  With the many talents in our congregation, I am confident that we will be able to accomplish many things.  Pastor Mark is leading us in monthly activities that will give us opportunities to use our gifts.  It is exciting to me to be a part of an aggressive program that will help our congregation lead others to Christ by trying our best to follow His teachings.  Our church has new vitality with young couples and children, which bring with them new ideas for worship and activities. We are experiencing a great opportunity to expand our ways of praising and loving the Lord by melding together traditional and new.  

Thank you to all who have committed to participate in all the activities that make our church special.  It takes everyone sharing their gifts to make our church work for the Glory of God and I appreciate everyone of you.
